MPD Android plugins?

Post by Offliner33 » September 24th, 2019, 12:45 pm

Is there any documentation available that shows which plugins are compiled in the Android version of MPD?

No, because anybody may do his own build with his arbitrary choices of plugins.

But these are the libraries I compile for Android prior to building MPD; the according plugins are thus enabled in my MPD/Android builds:

Thanks for the reply. So, if I understand correctly, I can clone the source and edit the buildscript to include the plugins that I want?

Also, OpenSLES is the only output plugin included by default?

Of course you can, it's open source!

Technically, you don't need that script I linked to, it is just a convenience script to make building for Android easier. You can compile all libraries for Android manually and then use meson/ninja as usual to build MPD for Android.

There are more output plugins enabled in my Android build: null, recorder, httpd, and (of course) sles.
