Hi,
I can't play some tracks.
Encountered errors.
See log sample at the end of:

Does the file specified in the error message exist or not?

Ofcourse, when I switch from satelite mpd instance (10.10.11.12) to mpd player installed on server (10.10.10.1) there is no issue (playing the same tracks using the same database.)

But does the main MPD really use the same paths?
This error message originates from your NFS server, it's not just MPD's opinion that the file doesn't exist.... my educated guess is that there's an asymmetry in your path configurations.

The issue concern few folders with long and strange name (which CD riper created). Maybe this is an issue: long folders names?

Code: Select all

ela@akacja:~$ tree '/var/lib/mpd/music/Ber_Music/MUSIC_1/Pink Floyd/2011. Discovery Box (2011, EMI, 50999 0 82613 2 8, USA, 16CD)/1969. More (2011, EMI, USA, Mexico, 50999 028938 2 2)'

So what should I check?

Wait... I think I see the problem now.
"Pink Floyd - More.cue/track0010"

This is a virtual track inside a CUE file. And apparently, MPD cannot recognize that NFS error properly, and doesn't dig into just "Pink Floyd - More.cue" instead.

Can you write a bug report on GitHub about this?
