Streaming on Windows?

I've got MPD running on Windows 7 and working fine for local files, but I'm not sure how to configure it properly for streaming audio. I've added the "curl" input block to mpd.conf, and am adding URLs with MPC. Sometimes when I start a URL it will play for one second and then stop; other times it will do nothing. What am I missing?

This is my mpd.conf:

Code: Select all

music_directory 	"C:\\Users\\Mike\\Music"
playlist_directory	"C:\\Users\\Mike\\MPD\\playlists"
db_file 		"C:\\Users\\Mike\\MPD\\database"
log_file 		"C:\\Users\\Mike\\MPD\\log"
bind_to_address	"any"
port			"6600"
log_level		"verbose"
zeroconf_enabled	"yes"
zeroconf_name 	"Music Player"
input {
        plugin "curl"
        proxy "proxy.local"
}
audio_output {
  type "winmm"
  name "Speakers"
  device "Speakers (Conexant High Definition SmartAudio H2)"
}
And I find this in the log:

Code: Select all

Oct 04 13:58 : playlist: play 0:"http://8323.live.streamtheworld.com:80/KFOGFMAAC_SC"
