Music Player Daemon

For the last year or so I've been building a new MPD client for macOS. Theremin was ok but didn't really suit the way I listen to music and stopped working a couple of OS versions ago.



Persephone should work on macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) and up.

There's still a bunch of work to be done, but I've been using it pretty consistently for the last 12 months.

I'd love to know what y'all think

Hi Dan,

Thanks for writing Persephone and making it available. I just downloaded alpha version 0.17.0. It's only been running for a few minutes but my main feedback is, it would be nice to be able to sort the album display by artist and/or album title -- it appears pretty random as it is.

Also the ability to view the list by genre would be good.

On the positive side, it connected to my server right away and displayed the queue contents with no apparent errors.

I certainly realize this is a work in alpha test so just figured you'd appreciate a little feedback.
