Pipe output: parameter substitution

Post by FoLLgoTT »

I'm running MPD with Brutefir via pipe output. Since this plugin lacks parameter substitution for the stream format (e.g. channels, bits and sample rate) I added it to the source and compiled it locally. It works fine.
But I never developed open source on linux and I don't know the rules how to check in etc. I would appreciate it if someone could review the code (maybe beautify it) and add it to the release.

I attached the file.

Can anyone help?
