I am trying to install mpd-0.21.5 from source on a Cubox ARM running Ubuntu. The Cubox runs as a headless server. I connect by ssh. This is the first time I try to install using meson. If by WORK you mean something like "Symphony No. 3 "Eroica"", I use the tag NAME to store that information. It works with flac files at least.

I just found out that, in Windows 8, GMPC metadata are stored in:

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\gmpc\metadata\

The INetCache directory is hidden. One needs to type the path in the path bar.

Problems with Album covers - Windows

I am using GMPC 11.8 under Windows 8.1 to connect to a remote mpd server. Album covers are stored locally in a single folder. To display Album covers, I do "Album view">(right-click)"Select file". This works well for most of my albums (>100), but I have two different problems with a few of the album...

I figured it out, at least for FLAC tagged with mp3id3. The correct separator is \\, which is honored by both mpd and gmpc.

Does GMPC support multiple artist tags? I tried using "/" as the separator (which should be the separator supported by ID3v2), but the artist tag appeared as artist1/artist2 in GMPC's tag browser.

If GMPC supports multiple artist tags, what is the correct separator to use?
