You obviously did not!
If you had, you would have posted the required information mentioned there.

Re: Gapless playback problem with wav files and problem with wavpack files

Maybe Fourlegs should have disclosed that he runs a website selling cables for £1495 which are advertised to "remove traces of digital harshness". WTF man!

Re: New to mpd

I don't think MPD is a good fit for you. It can be used, but it's not optimized well for that. You'd need one MPD instance (or MPD partition) per channel, and one HTTP port per channel. Each MPD instance/partition needs to be explicitly told to start playback, which requires a MPD client (in additio...

Re: Gapless playback problem with wav files and problem with wavpack files

If anyone is interested in looking there is discussion on Audiophilesound and one can read on the developers website. Discussions in such filter bubbles used to entertain me, but these days, I don't have time for this kind of entertainment... for me, this is all superstition. It works because peopl...

Re: Gapless playback problem with wav files and problem with wavpack files

768 kHz? Are you sure this is not a typo? Antipodes advertises that the K50 plays "PCM to 32bit/768kHz". I, too, have difficulties understanding why anybody would ever want such an insane sample rate, or where to get music recorded at this rate. Or what kind of "golden ear" would ever be able to pe...

Re: Gapless playback problem with wav files and problem with wavpack files

I had never heard of this product before, and such did not knew it shipped with MPD. Price tag is $16k, wow. About WavPack: WavPack support was added to MPD in 2008, that's 13 years ago. Though I have no idea why anybody would ever want to use WavPack, except for playing existing files they got from...

That's unfortunate. But you can try updating to 1.76 which was released recently.

Yes, build and compile is the same thing in this context. It's a documented procedure.

Re: x86 Version

The official Windows build is 64 bit only. If you want to run MPD on 32 bit Windows, you need to build your own.

Re: Music Location

You need to post the "update" command to MPD. One way to do that is to use the command-line tool "mpc" which you apparently do not have installed. There are other ways with other clients, but I don't know which client you're using. But "mpd update" doesn't do anything, because "mpd.exe" doesn't have...

Re: Music Location

MPD doesn't care about your complex folder structure.
But did you update the database after changing the configuration? "mpc update"

Re: Can not get the right response on find Artist

Oh look: https://www.runeaudio.com/download/ The latest release for Pi2 is already 5 years old. The last changelog entry (https://www.runeaudio.com/changelog/) is 7 years old! Looks like Rune Audio is a dead project! Don't use it! Here's RuneAudio's MPD package: https://github.com/RuneAudio/RuneOS/t...

Then I can't help you. You should ask Rune Audio for help - this is not a support site for Rune Audio, only for MPD.
