Re: Include playlists in search

I've seen that but I don't understand the syntax. Give me an example, please. How can I find the second entry from my (actual) playlist Radiostationen.m3u: #EXTM3U #EXTINF:-1,Deutschlandfunk http://st01.dlf.de/dlf/01/128/mp3/stream.mp3 #EXTINF:-1,Deutschlandradio Kultur http://st02.dlf.de/dlf/02/128...

Include playlists in search

Is there a way to include the contents of the current playlist (or all playlist files) into the search? How can I include internet radio station links into the search resp. into database?

python-mpd2(?) kills playlist entry

I'm testing to control mpd by python-mpd2 library. I've two mpd servers (both Raspberry Pi 3). At one server the current playlist entry is deleted if I used the MDPClient.next() function at the other server this does not happen. If I look with NCMPC at the servers I can see a small letter 'c' top ri...

Re: Recording output plugin

See, that is exactly why you shouldn't ask questions about outdated MPD versions, as suggested by https://www.musicpd.org/help/ OK,but users don't have influence at the maintainer of Raspbian... Now my experiences with compiling on two Raspberry-systems B2 und 3: I used this how to: http://taudac.c...

Re: Recording output plugin

Ok, compiling from 0.20.9 sources on my amd64-system makes a version which works as it is described in the documentation. Actually the compiling process on the Raspberry B2 is running. In some ours there might be a result. CU later

Recording output plugin

I'm struggeling with the recording output functiom. In general it work's if I gave a static filename. But when I try to use the wildcards e. g. %file%.ogg (every played music has a file), the server writes a file with the name %file%.ogg. Here my section from /etc/mpd.conf audio_output { type "recor...

boot problem (mpd.log: output: Failed to open audio output)

I guess there is a timing/order problem with the alsa-system or hifiberry-dac+ pro initialization: After starting resp. rebooting half the times (not everytime!) mpd don't start playing the last internet radio station. The mpd.log file says output: Failed to open audio output. A manually given mpc p...

curl: curl failed: Could not resolve host:

I've done a fresh Jessie-Lite installation at an Raspberry Pi 3 system. MPD is started as a service during booting. But there is one problem: MPD doesn't start the last title from my internet radio playlist. The log file says: curl: curl failed: Could not resolve host: ... web address.. It doesn't m...

Re: Problem with static IP system

Thank you, max! Your link could have been a step to find the solution. The problem depended on buildroot. Even when a system without dhcp is generated, buildroot writes a symbolic link from /etc/resolv.conf to /tmp/resolv.conf. But /tmp/resolv.conf is empty because there is no dhcp service activated...

Problem with static IP system

I've built an own system with buildroot, toolchain and busybox for a raspberry pi b including mpd. All works fine, the system is starting very quick. After 8 seconds mpd plays the last title from the playlist. If I set up a static ip (with correct gateway and dns nameserver addresses) the system sta...
